Raccoon Media Group is an exciting and dynamic UK events business run by a group of exhibition and digital marketing experts. The team at Raccoon Events is small, but has a wealth of event experience – collectively over 80 years of organising exhibitions and conferences in key locations all over the world.
We set up Raccoon because we wanted to create exhibitions that offer something new and different in underserved markets that we understand and that we love. We believe that great events are about community, fun, innovation and excitement and we hope that we offer you that with The National Outdoor Expo.

Dan Leyland
Event Director
Dan Leyland brings over 20 years of exhibition and eventmanagement experience to his new role as Event Director of the National Outdoor Expo, working with Raccoon Media Group. Dan HAS expressed his enthusiasm for shaping an event full of energy, passion, and purpose.
Joining the team presents a chance to “dive into work that really makes an impact,” combining personal insight with a clear vision for growth and engagement.
Kristian Pelling
Account Manager
Kristian works closely with outdoor, adventure, and cycling companies – helping them find the right fit across the show, whether that’s in the newly launched Cycle Zone, Bushcraft area, or the high-energy demo spaces. With a background in events. Kristian enjoys connecting with passionate brands and making sure they get the most out of exhibiting.
Outside of work, he’s a bit of a watch nerd, loves dogs, and is always on the lookout for a good pasta recipe or his next active trip abroad.
Imogen Pelham
Account Manager
Imogen is the Account Manager for Snowbound Expo and National Outdoor Expo at Raccoon Media Group, working with exhibitors to build strong partnerships and deliver a successful event experience for all. She has previously worked on two major B2B exhibitions and was personally shortlisted for three exhibition industry awards.
She studied Business and Management at the University of Sussex and has hands-on experience across different events and sales roles. Outside of work, Imogen enjoys travelling, music festivals, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
Ben Yeo
Marketing Manager
Ben is a Marketing Manager at Raccoon Media Group. After recently graduating from university in the summer of 2021 he is keen to work within the sports industry and enhancing his marketing skills. He enjoys playing football regularly and has recently completed his first marathon.
Lottie Faulkner
Content Producer
Lottie is the Content Producer for the National Running Show.
Previous experience in marketing, comms and sales, she has a particular interest in producing fresh and dynamic content at events, building connections with speakers and the wider running community.
In her spare time, she can usually be found with her horse and has competed to international level in eventing, naturally she loves a challenge, sports and being in the great outdoors.
Hannah Hopwood
Marketing Director
Hannah is the Marketing Director, Europe. With years of experience, she has managed a variety of marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C events. Hannah loves creating partnership opportunities and organising successful community-focused events in the health and well-being sector. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on the beach with her husband and three children.
Mike Seaman
GROUP CEO
Mike has worked in the exhibition industry since 2003 and is a huge advocate for the power of live events. He founded Raccoon in 2016 with the aim to create a business that supports passionate, self-identifying communities through live events.
In his spare time, he is a father to two awesome kids, and a keen runner, having recently completed his fourth 100-mile ultramarathon.
Mike also sits on the board of the Association of Event Organisers.
Jo Tyler
GROUP COO
Jo is the Group Chief Operating Officer and works across all of the event brands. With over 25 years experience in the events industry, her specialism is launching new products and enhancing user experience. In her spare time she also runs to keep fit and loves enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two kids.
Nathalie Davies
Managing Director - SPORTS & OUTDOOR
Nathalie is UK Managing Director at Raccoon Media Group. She has worked in the events industry since 2005, running events in a variety of sectors including technology, marketing, building services and franchising. She joined the Raccoon team in 2021 when they only had 1 show which was The National Running Show, she has enjoyed helping the business grow their events and launch new ones.
She is a big fitness fan, loves to run, do Pilates and ski in the winter season. When she is not working in the events world she is a busy mum to 2 kids.
